CELL•GEL® is an odorless, colorless, tasteless, high purity Medical-Grade gel, which is applied very sparingly (approximately 1 drop per square inch) 3 times per day, helping to smooth and soften scar tissue. It is not absorbed into the skin, nor does it have any drug-like properties.

It was riginally developed for use on surgical scarring and burn wounds. Studies in Europe, Australia, and the U.S. since the early 1980's show that these materials have the ability to help refine and soften scar tissue when applied as directed. INFORMATION ABOUT CELL•GEL®

CELL•GEL® therapy may not completely remove scars, but it has been shown to dramatically soften and flatten scar tissue. It also helps to return natural color and consistency to the skin. The exact mechanism of why or how it works is not completely understood, but it appears that the skin "reads" this matrix film, causing collagen and elastin bundles to properly align in new skin as it forms. As older skin sloughs off, this new refined layer gradually becomes exposed. Recent small scars often refine in as little as 6 weeks, virtually disappearing. Older scars will almost always take several months longer to show dramatic improvement.

Application: CELL•GEL® is useful on hypertrophic, keloid, burn, acne pit and other scars. Allow wounds or incisions to close completely and for scabs to fall off, before beginning application of CELL•GEL® scar treatment.

For easiest application, cover the opening of the bottle with a clean fingertip; invert, then right the bottle and scrape most of the CELL•GEL® back into the bottle. Pat CELL•GEL® over the scar, then rub in.

For the greatest benefit, CELL•GEL® should be rubbed in well—3 times daily (re-apply after bathing), so that it remains continuously on the skin. It has a very low order of toxicity and skin sensitization. It does not appear to have adverse affects when ingested. On the exterior of the eye, it can produce a mild irritation (this will subside in a few hours) so hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and water after application. CELL•GEL® film on the skin allows the transmission of water vapor, yet is occlusive to water and water-based fluids.

Each production lot of CELL•GEL® has been cytoxicity-tested and is certified as having passed, assuring uniformity of biological and chemical properties. It is resistant to decomposition by heat or oxidation.
